Music theory is one of the most exciting parts of music education...for me ♥. It is absolutely essential. It helps us to understand music in such a way that we can ultimately compose music ourselves. Music theory knowledge will ultimately help us to explore personal creativity and freedom when composing, harmonising and arranging.
These classes are presented online via Google Meet or in person. Class times will be confirmed with a personal email.

Theory class choices
A) COMPREHENSIVE MUSIC THEORY For primary / secondary school students and adults As a music teacher, this course is my recommendation since it establishes basic theory concepts for beginners that progresses into advanced work. We cover all content for all levels required for international examination boards like ABRSM and TRINITY.
This is a basic and essential part for all aspiring musicians. Exams are optional - grades 1-6 |
B) BERKLEE MUSIC THEORY 3 months online for beginner teens/adults
Learn music theory based on over 40 years of music theory instruction at Berklee College of Music. The Beklee method features rigorous, hands-on, "ears-on" practice exercises that help you explore the inner working of music, presenting notes, scales, and rhythms as they are heard in pop, jazz, and blues. You will learn and build upon the basic concepts of music theory with written exercises, listening examples, and ear training exercises. The online audio examples will help reinforce lessons as you begin to build a solid musical foundation.
